Weekly Group Ride

To ride with the CMBC on Thursday nights, a membership and insurance is mandatory.

A yearly CMCB membership is $5.00. The yearly Cycling Association of Yukon (CAY) insurance is $25.00.  The Yukon Cycling Association Insurance covers you for CMCB and Velo North rides and events, as well as other organized cycling events in the Yukon.

If an uninsured rider is in the group, insurance for the entire group is void. Insurance forms will be available at designated ride locations for new comers.  

 

A Few Group Ride Notes:
• Ride departure is 7:30pm sharp. (Please show up 10-15minutes before to determine trail routes).
• Riders of all levels and gender are welcomed. Note that, if the group is large, factions will develop to reduce group size and satisfy skill levels. Know your limits.
• Please notify at least two people if you are dropping out from a group ride.
• Bring: tools, extra tubes, pump, hydration fluid, snack, and most important, your helmet
• Respect the land, and others using.
• Yield to others on the trails.
• If you pack it in, pack it out.
